Interests

My interests include writing travelogues and creating low-res animations, short film and spoofs for my personal website. I also enjoy travel, cycling, surfing, music, the theatre, photography and reading.

Volunteer Activities

I was an active volunteer in computer related organisations in Australia.

1998 - June 2001

Co-leader

DigitalEve Melbourne/Melbourne Webgrrls

This was a challenging role, including the following tasks:

• run the mailing list and manage membership
• maintain website
• develop and coordinate volunteer web design program
• write editorial, tutorial content and training materials
• media appearances to promote women in technology

1994 - June 2001

Volunteer Webmaster, Web Designer and List Administrator

I maintained several 'community interest' lists with Majordomo. I provided html, graphic design and content for community websites. I assisted with the routine maintenance of web servers.
